The Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations is a useful free tool.
It allows you to search for the meaning of abbreviations for the titles of English language legal publications. It covers mainly law reports and law periodicals (journals), but also some legislative publications and major textbooks. Do you have a tricky or obscure citation to work out? This is where to find out what it means.
Examples might include NLJ for the New Law Journal, All ER for the All England Law Reports and WLR for the Weekly Law Reports.
